Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a safe,
natural alternative to invasive cosmetic procedures. The Mesolift
process delivers vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the
skin to nourish and rejuvenate, promote production of collagen and
elastin, and stimulate your metabolism. As your skin ages, circulation
decreases, and the resulting reduction of oxygen and nutrients hinders
your body's ability to flush out toxins. This is what drives premature
aging and causes the skin to develop an ashen appearance.
After treatment, patients commonly describe their skin as looking
rested, radiant, glowing and firmer. Mesotherapy can be used a
supplement, or an alternative, to many anti-aging regimens, including
botox, laser resurfacing, peels, antioxidants, topical creams and
facelifts.
Mesotherapy is also a highly effective rejuvenating treatment. The
procedure can be used to tone and tighten sagging skin on the neck,
legs, abdomen, arms and hands. In Europe, women often start treatments
in their thirties, but Mesotherapy can prove valuable during any stage
of a woman's life.

Mesotherapy is a procedure used for
weight loss and body sculpting to reduce, eliminate and contour specific
undesired fat pockets. This method targets the receptors on fat cells
that produce lipogenesis (fat production) and lipolysis (fat breakdown).
Receptors that break down fat are known as beta receptors; those that
create fat are alpha receptors. Alpha receptors are stimulated to
produce fat when you ingest food containing carbohydrates, fat, amino
acids, hormones or alcohol.
In both men and women, the
ratio of alpha to beta receptors is generally 1:1 - above the waist.
Below the waist, women have approximately 6 to 8 alpha receptors for
every single beta receptor. This is the main reason women have trouble
losing fat in their abdomens, buttocks and thighs: their bodies are
designed to retain fat in those areas.
A medical history and
physical examination is required prior to receiving treatment for weight
loss and body sculpting. Based on individual requirements, the doctor
selects a formula consisting of several medications that block alpha
receptors and stimulate the beta receptors. Once injected into the skin,
the formula slowly diffuses into the fat, and breaks it down. The number
of weight loss and body sculpting treatments required varies from person
to person.

Say Goodbye to Cellulite;
Hello to Great Legs and Buttocks!
There's only one medical treatment proven to reduce or
eliminate cellulite -Mesotherapy.
Although many products
purport to treat cellulite, most are merely massage machines and creams
that do little (or nothing) to improve your appearance. Mesotherapy
gets results by targeting the underlying causes of cellulite - not
just the outward symptoms. (To learn more about the underlying causes of
cellulite, see Chapter 2 of
The Cellulite Cure.)
Cellulite usually appears between the ages of 25 and 35, and
progressively worsens with time. Although it's easily treated with a few
Mesotherapy sessions in its early stages, once cellulite progresses to
more advanced stages, treatment usually requires a greater number of
Mesotherapy sessions.
- Stage 0: No
visible cellulite, even when the skin is pinched.
- Stage 1: No
visible cellulite when standing or lying down. However an "orange
peel" texture can be seen when the skin is pinched.
- Stage 2:
Visible cellulite when standing but not when lying down.
- Stage 3:
Visible cellulite when standing and lying down.
Since more than 90% of women
are affected by cellulite, this condition doesn't make you "different.
Unlike most existing literature on the subject, The Cellulite Cure also
explores the physical and emotional toll that cellulite has on women,
including:
- Lower self-esteem
- Fear of ridicule and
embarrassment
- Effects on romantic
relationships and libido
- Avoidance or decreased
enjoyment of certain activities
- Stress from continual
efforts to cover up cellulite
- Time and money wasted
on so-called "cures"
Mesotherapy can
eliminate cellulite on the legs and buttocks, breaking down the
orange-peel appearance of skin, and producing a smooth contour. The
average patient eliminates all visible cellulite in 10-25 sessions. Some
patients require additional treatments if their cellulite is
particularly severe.
Mesotherapy is completely safe when performed by a well-trained
physician. In fact, during the 50 years that Mesotherapy has been
practiced, no deaths have occurred as a result. Compare this to
liposuction, which causes approximately 100 deaths per year.
The most significant side effects of Mesotherapy are black and blue
marks, a 15- to 20-minute burning sensation, mild to moderate soreness
for 1-5 days, and (as with any injection) a slight risk of infection.
All patients return to work the same day.
