If you are thinking about getting labioplasty, I think this note may be helpful. I didn’t know quite what to expect, how much pain I would go through or how long I would still be in pain. Today is the third day after I had it done and I am in the no pain whatsoever. The area is very tender and I can’t workout or anything like that, but I’ve resumed my normal schedule. Right after the procedure I found it to be pretty painful like a burning/ throbbing sensation. I rested for 2 days (over the weekend) and only needed the vicodin for those two days. I have no children so I’m not sure what child birth is like. The procedure itself was mildly uncomfortable, but Dr. Mani put me at ease by explaining exactly what she was doing. She patiently and kindly talked me through the whole procedure. I’m still a little swollen but I can’t wait to see the end result. I am very pleased and I think the mild momentary discomfort is worth it.

My labioplasty went perfectly. I was a little concerned before the procedure, but Dr. Mani made it very easy. She warned the injections may hurt, but it was just tiny pinpricks and that was the only pain. The procedure went quickly Dr. Mani explained everything as she went on. I felt no pain the entire time. I am very pleased with the result. It could have not gone better. The immediate pictures look great! Thank you!

“Labioplasty is not a subject any girl or women would jump at the chance to discuss. The truth is it can be quite embarrassing and awkward. I found Dr. Mani’s office online and took it upon myself to make that phone call. Truth be told I have been wanting to have the procedure done for many many years now and finally got the courage to move forward with it. At my initial consultation Dr. Mani and her staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They explained exactly what would happen and what I could expect.

 Two weeks passed and my surgery day came. I was excited and scared because I don’t do well with shots. The procedure was great and went buy with ease. Both Dr. Mani and her assistant Linda, talked and got to know me a little which I found comforting.

I’m a registered nurse of some 20 years, who opted to have a Labioplasty. I chose Dr. Mani because I found her very welcoming during my consultation. She made me at ease to talk about something very personal, (best bedside manner) she thoroughly explained the before, during and after procedure details. The staff was also very friendly. When deciding to have this procedure done, I had no idea what to expect. Dr. Mani did a fabulous job explaining every step of the process including the healing. Labioplasty

Consultation: The most helpful information came from reading other patient’s testimonials about how pleased they were and how simple/easy the procedure was. Dr. Mani answered my questions and put me at ease. Her website made me realize that I was not the only woman out there with this asymmetrical problem. It gave me the courage to make that initial call. I am glad I did.

Actual Procedure

The staff was most helpful and reassuring. Dr. Mani is so special in her bedside manner. I asked to be talked through the procedure which she competently did. I was spared any surprises forewarned of the initial pain of the numbing, (which was manageable by the way.) The procedure seemed to go by quickly because of her wonderful way of engaging your attention.

The procedure was completed and the results were better than expected. I was armed with all the necessary items for my following at home care. Dr. Mani and her staff were professional, first class, and really care about their patient’s healthcare and comfort. I wished I hadn’t waited so long to have this procedure done. I honestly can’t think of any particular thing they could improve upon.
